Hi, he is still around here and we've been feeding him. Have contacted the dog warden today and he is coming soon to pick him up to hopefully re-home. Shame the owner couldn't be found.

He is getting friendlier and spends quite a lot of time around our farm now, although still haven't caught him yet but hopefully will soon.

No he hasn't, but he comes around every day to eat and he is getting friendlier. Hoping soon to be able to catch him without too much distress for him.

Hi, please could someone check if this is 9227. I know the dog was only a puppy when he went missing in April 2007 but the markings do look very similar.

Believe owner has eliminated this as Todd. Todd has tri colour on him.

I am pretty sure this could be missing dog Todd, missing from 11 minutes down the road from where this dog has been seen/found. He is described as nervous of strangers which all matches up, please could somebody try and get hold of Todd's owners to confirm markings etc? Natalie

MORE INFORMATION -
A black and white adult collie dog has been wandering around our area for a couple of months now. He is very wary and has no collar on. He is mainly black with a white blaze down middle of face. He has white around the back of his head. The white goes down onto his chest and under his belly. He had white feet and a white tip to his tail. Think he is a collie cross. We have been feeding him for last week in the hope that we can gain his trust so we can hopefully catch him. He seems a very calm dog and takes food from your hand very gently but does not want to get too close.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
