- Thankyou for your help and searching. Got posters around wentbridge Thorpe audlin and upton at the min. I'm from kirk smeaton originally so have informed everyone there and poster in pub. Wish I'd of known about her being around Tuesday but it's sods law I wasnt around. I'm guessing now she has been picked up and not just wondering around the surrounding woods. Not given up hope someone will come forward. Noticed a poster in hillam feeds today so thankyou to whoever placed that. J

- Just spoken to Brian, who was on his way home after being at Kennels, he confirmed that you were riding a horse towards Wentbridge, we saw you ( a blue estate car) and you acknowledged us for slowing down, about 1.20pm. Saw the poster on the bin in Wentbridge, perhaps some more should be put further afield ?

- Just got back, hubby and I walked along the footpath from Wentbridge, towards Smeaton, then back through Brockadale Woods, for about one and a half hours, scanning on both side. Sadly nothing to report. Jytte

- Have spoken to dog walkers this morning in Pontefract Park, one who lives in Upton and daily drives the A639, to keep a look out, and one who lives at Darrington, far side of A1, also Brian who will be at Kennels tomorrow. Just thought of Boarding kennels, Morningfield 01977 620474 they are all in that area, walking dogs every day. I will see if I can walk around Brockadale tomorrow.

- Ive got some one I used to work with lives round here somewhere. Will txt him now- they have dogs & walk all the fields. My neighbour works at Barnsdale Bar Farm as well - will let him & farm workers know.
Can help after tomorrow with postering/search if needed. If sighted we have a trap that can be brought into area - 2011-01-16 13:58 Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
- Jytte , thankyou for helping to spread the word about Heidi ! The sighting of her in the lane 2 days after she went missing were made by a man who does know her so its almost certain that it was Heidi. We now need more sightings to know if she is still in the area so please keep postering and passing the word on and I it would be good if you can poster a little further afield too.

- Just spoken to my neighbour who goes to Hunt Kennels to collect wood, and he has spoken at length with Jilly. He saw the dog about 1.30pm on Tuesday, trotting up and down lane to Kennels, but said a few vehicles came up and down and wondered if she had been struck by one of them? She will not voluntarily go up to anyone, so cannot be enticed into a vehicle. Perhaps a search of driveway ?

- Hi Michelle and thanks ! One way you could help if you are able to is to print and put up a poster or two for the owners I know they would be very grateful. We need to get as much public awareness for Heidi as possible as its very possible she may have been found and or taken by someone and kept.Last edited: 2011-01-12 23:47:29 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

- Heidi vanished from outside her owners property in a rural area and she has never been known to wander before. Her owners have informed the dog warden and been checking with the stray kennels and are about to start postering. I have advised they visit the stray kenels in person to be sure she is not there and take along a poster of her. Hoping that Heidi is home again very soon ~ Pam

- Sorry to see that HEIDI is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (27382)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
