Any possibility this could be Gucci 24903. He is described as Adult so don't know whether Young or Older. I know the areas are miles apart but after all this length of time thought it might be worth a look. I believe Gucci is said to be microchipped but I know from a friend's experience that a scanner can be faulty - and, apparently, the chip can "migrate"! Rang Gucci's owner re this found RR - voicemail so left message.

Hi, Jenny and I went to see a RR in kennels after it (sorry couldn't see if M/F) was taken by a dog warden in Staffordshire - details: young, not full grown, liver nose, didn't bark, fit, healthy, well covered, bouncing up and down, they say there is no chip, he was taken by a dog warden from The Black Lake Inn in Hilderstone, nr Stoke-on-Trent called from Stafford Borough Council on Friday last week. This dog is now in Swan Pit Kennels, I will post the tel number later but the Post code is ST20 0EE, we saw the dog but owner George McMasters would not let us back in to take a photo and would not let Animal Search UK in to see the dog either. However we are sure it is not our dog. I am going to complain to Stafford BC about this place, it is hideous, don't want to say more on this space. We were told they will keep the dog for 8 days while the Council pay for it, don't know what happens after that. THE MAIN THING IS THEY ARE SAYING IT IS NOT RIDGEBACK, THEY SAY A MASTIF CROSS, SO DON'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER - IT IS A RR WITH NO RIDGE. - Debbie
