RUSTY STILL MISSING

It is now approaching 3 YEARS since this WORKING COCKER SPANIEL went missing, we suspect he was taken and moved to another part of the Country. Anyone who goes Shooting/beating, please, please keep a look out for this very distinctive RUSTY coloured dog with a large white flash on his chest and aged about 8 years old now. He also had a couple of broken teeth in the lower front jaw. Maybe someone now has him and he was bought in good faith, it would be good to know what happened to him. My brother still misses Rusty and we talk of him often, lots of the local people ask "did you ever find that dog that went missing - strange how such a distinctive dog could go missing like that whilst working?"

It is now approaching 3 months since Rusty went missing. To date no information or sightings. His disappearance is widely known throughout local shooting & country sports community. We have not given up hope that one day Rusty will be back home with Stan, Dan, Jim & the T dogs.

Have spoken to K9 Search, cocker found in Bloxwich different colour to our missing dog.

Its 3 weeks today, since Rusty went missing, whilst working on country estate in North Shropshire, bordered by A53 & A442 roads (linking Shrewsbury - Mkt Drayton/Stoke-on-Trent,Telford - Whitchurch). Please could everyone keep a look out for this distinctive cocker spaniel. If he was picked up/taken on these main roads he could easily be anywhere in North/Mid Wales, North West or West Mid areas.

Thanks for all the comments. Have contacted Hillbrae, Prees & Grinshill Kennel, plus Dogs Trust Roden & Rspca @ Dorington. Posters @ vets in North Shropshire & local shops etc. To date no information or sightings! Rusty

have you contacted hillbrae Kennels 01952541254 thats where the Dog warden in your area takes the dog. Have you contacted the dog warden in your area the police RSPCA have not got numbers to hand also Dogs Trust at Roden 01952 770225 Grinsall rescue 07740103393 hope it helps

Scenting is very good advice if we had an email addy we can send the details& other advice, but a Lab was found on here just recently owner left his jacket where he last seen his dog & returned to find him laying on it ,,,, Good Luck!

Has Rusty's owner tried leaving an item of clothing with their scent on at the spot where Rusty was last seen, as dogs often return to the place where they last saw their owner? If there's somewhere shelterd close by they could also try leaving some of his toys/bedding/food to try and keep him in the area.
