We did some searching for Rosie last Friday and were gearing up to help this weekend but all is now well. We are truly delighted for you all, take care and lots of hugs for you all xxxx

- ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS NEWS !!!!!!!!!! ROSIE IS HOME ! lots more sightings of her came in this morning in the same area she was in yesterday and Hazel her owner went straight over there. Then she saw Rosie herself but Rosie looked at her and then turned and walked away. Hazel started to sing to her like she does at home and Rosie stopped and started to walk back slowly. Hazel laid on the ground still singing and little Rosie carried on coming towards her and then jumped onto her and snuggled up to her crying!! I wish I had been there to see this as it must have been such an emotional moment. Rosie is very dirty and smelly, her coat is matted and she is thin BUT she seems ok ....... just very tired. Whilst Hazel was talking to me her son came back home to see Rosie and it was lovely to hear his joy at their Rosie being back home ....... i had to get the tissues out ! Rosie is going to have a bath and a restful day to get over her ordeal. I have asked if Hazel will send us a reunited photo. I have great pleasure in saying WELCOME HOME ROSIE and please stay safe from now on xxx PamLast edited: 2011-01-25 13:02:50 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

- This is encouraging. It is so upsetting when they run off after being sighted. I will never forget Milo running off from me when I spotted him in Clumber. But take comfort from the sighting. Lets hope little Rosie will be home safe and sound soon. Judi

- Fab news!! Fingers crossed here. We have been worried about Rosie all weekend but got caught up looking for 3 legged Minnie who happily is now home. Lets hope this is the day for little Rosie to come home too, best wishes xxx

- BUMPED ! SIGHTINGS OF ROSIE today in a rural area several miles from where she ran off. She was spotted by a lady in her garden and she called her owners. A helper and the owner have now seen her so we know for definite it is her ! Rosie did see her owner but ran ...off we have told her this is quite usual behaviour for a dog in this situation. Owners are going back there now to leave some scenting and food and I have suggested she just walks around the area with her other dog and talks quietly. This may bring Rosie out but if nothing else will leave their scent there. Fingers crossed Rosie goes home today ! x PamLast edited: 2011-01-24 12:13:46 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

- we did flyers on cars twice yesterday in aldi tesco and wilkos and we are going to do that again today. i will print some more out and hand them around the industrial areas also. we've got some smaller flyers which are smaller than A5 they are on A4 sheets and you get three on there which are proving to be very helpful.

- we went to Clowne yesterday and did some postering. went to the area of the possible sighting and seeing first hand the lie of the land its quite feasible for Rosie to have got there. There is also a large parkland area in Clowne with entrances in various locations and we walked our dogs through this area. I noticed it is used a lot by dog walkers and also as a cut through by locals.I feel if Rosie was in here she would have been noticed by someone by now.
Laura ...... things for you to do ? When I spoke to you Mum I suggested that you go to the Industrial Esatate that is in Station Road during working hours. When we went there yesterday it was shut and had no real focus point we could put a poster on that all units would see. If you can take a poster into each of the units and ask them to display it so any of their drivers or customers see it. Rosie could easily have got to this area very quickly from North Road via a footpath but also any of their drivers need to made aware she is missing so hopefully they will keep a look out for her.
Whilst driving round we noticed your posters and you have been doing an excellent job but you can never have enough posters so please keep up with them and there are still areas of Clowne that may need postering. We noticed how busy Tesco is and it would be a good idea to go there at busy times armed with posters and stop and tell shoppers that Rosie is missing many must come in from outlying areas too ! You have adverts for her in next weeks press which is excellent and this will reach a wider area so fingers crossed you get news of her that way. Have you had any smaller flyer sizes posters printed up ? These would be good to put on car windscreens or to use on a door to door campaign. - Yes it has, and one of the other dogs has been taken to area of sightings tonight and did plenty of scent marking, bless him. Have advised owner to leave an unwashed item of clothing there also.

- 2 sightings reported within half an hour of each other on outskirts of village, but none of her family have seen her yet. At least they know which area she is frequenting.

- Bumped for a sighting which was called in this morning while we were there. Rosie's people have gone there to coax her with food. I have advised on keeping low to ground etc.

- Rosie wandered off with another dog which was quickly captured by passers by but Rosie ran off and has not been seen since. Owners have been out searching, contacted vets and left messages with the dog warden. I have advised that they phone the dog wardens again this morning and check they have Rosies details and also check with the stray kennels. As they border onto the Chesterfield area I have suggested they inform dog wardens etc for that area also. I have advised on the importance of postering as much as they possibly can to raise the maximum public awareness. Hoping Rosie is home very soon x
