SO GLAD SHE IS SAFE. SHE HAS SUCH LOVELY TRUSTING EYES. SHE REALLY DESERVES A LOVING RETIREMENT HOME.
LYDNSYD
I think Dog Trust was hopefully going to take her. It's just heart breaking that some one could just abandon her like that, they must have loved her at one time! I hope some kind person adopts her even though she is old and has the onset of arthritis. At least now she is being fed, kept warm and cared for. I will leave the posters up for another couple of days - just incase -and have added a comment about her status onto the posters. The posters of the young 'Found' 2 Cross Breeds are next to hers so should hopefully draw peoples attention to them.

Just rang the dog warden, they told me she has gone into rescue, didnt say which one but I hope she is happier now :)

LYDNSYD I hope someone helps the poor old girl :(

I have posted on springthing and on oldies I really hope someone can offer her the help she need

I spoke to the Reading Dog warden yesterday and no one has claimed this oldie. Her 7 days are up so hopefully she will go to a Rehoming Centre. The only drawback for her is that she is old - possibly 10 and has arthritis in her back end - which is probably why some horrible unscrupulous person has abandon her! She doesn't deserve this and I just pray someone with a big heart will rescue her and give her the love she deserves.

Jellybeans, I drove past Prospect Park today and also didn't see any posters but if this dog has been handed in to the Dog Warden I don't think it is usual for them to put any up so it's down to us. In the past I have put up posters around the entrances to Prospect Park on the wooden telegraph poles and some inside the Park but the park keepers aren't keen on them being pinned to the trees. You can print off posters just click on the 'View Poster' section. It could be that this lovely girl has also been abandoned or Stolen & dumped! I guess if she isn't claimed soon she will go up for rehoming.Asda are quite good at taking my posters. I will try and put up some more around Sulham Woods as loads of people go there at the weekend and when I'm next at Savacentre I will put one up there too. Perhaps other helpers can put up some posters in the surrounding areas as hopefully someone will recognise her.

spoke to Reading dog warden today, dog still not claimed. I live opposite Propect Park and there are NO posters around the park about this dog being found. Surely its worth posting some in the area she was found ? There are lots of dog walkers. PLUS dog warden said two more dogs, hound types, about 10 months old have been found abandoned in the park in the past week.

Poor Girl she looks so sad - someone must be missing her! I've put a couple of 'Found' Posters up at Sulham Woods so hopefully the word will spread.

It's unlikely to be lady after further info that she was spotted in west Bexington after this dog was found, Natalie
natalie
Could this be Lady, only a similar picture on site so can't really compare, also she has very similar similar markings to Conker on her face and body. Really hope she is claimed soon, Natalie
