- possibly with the spots but the large black patches i don't think would have changed that much. I might be wrong and i don't tink your mind will be at ease until you check out what happened to this dog yourself. If she was microchipped and still rehomed then there has been a huge mistake obviously but it is pretty unlikely.

- She was a young spaniel and her markings had only just began to get fully distinguishable so it is more than likely that she will have more black on her now than when she disappeared.

- we have double checked the markings on this found dog and your listing for Bella - the ages and markings do not appear to match, found dog was in the care of dog warden and would have been scanned at least a couple of times on entry to the stray system so I think that she is unlikely to be your girl - if you are in any doubt best to contact warden direct during daytime office type hours.

- looking at the photo of Bella the markings don't seem to match the found dog, also if she was rehomed the chances are her microchip would have been scanned. Unfortunately when a dog is rehomed (if it does turn out this is Bella and she has been rehomed) in most cases like this i've seen previously the dog has not been returned to the original owners. Poor Whispur the border collie is one example. Hopefully with Bella being microchipped you will be reunited even if this is not her, Natalie

- If she has been re homed but turns out to be Bella we can still take her home cant we? I know its a long shot but they look so so similar...

- I think that this one will be too young for your Bella as she is listed as puppy which is less than 6 months http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog_blog.php?dogId=27102 This dog was in the care of the dog warden - I will bump the page and will be best for you to call the warden tomorrow to see if she is still in rescue - she may have been rehomed at this point

- Could you please ring me on 07789917545 because I really think this is our dog that we lost a while ago, her name is potentially Bella. She has a micro chip so if you could scan her and phone me I would really appreciate it. Amy
