- A HUGE THANK YOU TO YOU ALL for your part/kind thoughts/deeds etc, etc, that have led to Millie being returned to us safe and sound. I am still yet to find out the full story surrounding her recovery - how/when? She is safe and seems unperturbed by her experience, although she is now sporting a rather unusual haircut and is being very clingy to me. Thanks also to those who are taking my posters down, I will be going out tomorrow to remove the remaining ones.

- owner - apparently both chips were located... it's obviously really important you speak to the UK company and ensure your full contact details are there and correct - might also be worth speaking to the US company and registering the UK chip number and details with them so they can cross reference. Welcome home Millie - can we have a reunited photo?? :) x

- she was definitely stolen, as someone saw the person that did this. someone did give chase, but they did not return, can only assume they did not catch up with them. The police have been informed and I do have a case number. Am hoping they can follow up on any leads they have.

- I'd contact the local paper(s) to get a story in about her asap. I don't know the area but presumably the local paper will cover a wide area, and is a good way of reaching lots of people. She is very distinctive so hopefully publicity will flush her out. Need to spread the word as much as possible, as soon as possible with posters. Good luck.

- Poster e mailed out to helpers in KT9,17,18,19,20,21. SM2,7. Please owner do not presume your dog was stolen...it may be that a genuine dog owner was concerned enough to stop and give your dog safety..thats a busy road! with all the best intentions they are not on a Sunday going to be able to get the dog scanned.

- Have the police issued you with a crime number? any cctv available to track registration number? get postering asap as widely as you can.
