Got Precious at 3.45 and had a lovely chat with her finder, he filled me in great laughter on all the things she got up to whilst in his care. His little girl got attached to Precious so was upset when he left for work-bless. Have rewarded him with bottle of baileys altho he insisted that it was payment enough to see the dog back with her family. Cant thank him enough-a wonderful man and once again-thanks so much to all of you for your concern and help. xx

She was befriended by the construction team on the north circular rd opposite where i live and taken home by the security guard after him trying all sorts including knocking doors, ringing local vets and the dog warden for Enfield but figured as he is here at work he would ask in local shops rather than have her sent to a rehoming unit. Couldnt have asked for a better man to have taken my dog in and will be reunited with her when he drives up to start his shift this afternoon. Were ecstatic

This is great news and confirms how important it is for us to chip our precious pets.She was taken by well meaning folk to a vet outside the search area and may not have been reunited without that permanent ID. Welcome home Precious and stay safe you beautiful girl.

Just got back in, So pleased to hear she's safe. What a cheeky monkey.

Have just had a call from petdocs in Surrey confirming that Precious is safe, she hopped into a car with someone passing and they took her home to their local vets. Thank you all so much for your help, advice and the work that Ace's mum has done and was about to do-can i offer to pay you for the posters you printed? And i shall be making a donation to your site and will actively look up the lost dogs to help with my sons locally. Margaret

Printed off some posters and will post them out this evening. Will also check our local parks while walking my dogs. I'm in N11
Just for info. Haringey doesn't have a dog warden, Hackneys dog warden covers in Emergency, possibly why the reluctance to record the alert.

Have just spoken to Precious' owner. Precious got out of the back garden,something she has done before but has returned. Someone has probably taken her in & not reported her as missing. The DW for Enfield has been informed but the DW for Haringay did not want to record the alert! Vets,chip company, etc have been informed. Owner is getting posters out everywhere.
Precious will be put on Facebook-Doglost West London. General advice & info email sent.
