The finders have beeen in touch with the Animal Wardens who have arranged for the people from BL9 to see the dog, and sadly he is not their dog. I originally posted the dog as a Blenheim Cavalier (brown & white) this was a misunderstanding, the dog is actually black with a little bit of tan on him. Lets hope we can find his mum and dad soon. I am trying to get a poster/pic of him.

The finders have reported him to the local police, they have been to the vet to see if he is chipped (he's not). They rang the dog warden on Tuesday (25th Jan) when they found him but the dog warden is yet to call round to see the dog. I have arranged to go round tomorrow and get a picture of him as soon as I get this I will post it on here. I have a cavalier myself and know how the family who have lost him must be feeling, I intend to walk the area at the weekend and ask if anyone has lost him. Hope we can get him back with his mummy and daddy asap.

Have the finders also informed the Dog Wardens for the area and maybe put up some found posters of this dog as someone may be looking for him and reported him lost to the Dog Wardens. Can the finder send or email admin@doglost.co.uk a photo of this dog please. Last edited: 2011-01-27 20:50:17 by doglover1

The dog is currently being looked after by the family who found him. They have taken him to a vet who has confirmed that he has no chip but he is a full pedigree and is around 3 years old and has been well looked after. He has informed the police who have said if no one claims him within 28 days then the family may claim him.

Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
