Went to see Katy to-day with Divdon & another lovely lady that sighted Katy. Katy has lost a lot of weight, very clingy with mum but been to the Vets for a check up & Katy is just gorgeous xxx

The local newspaper Evening Advertiser has been out to do a story.

The 2nd photo is a reunited one taken to-day tried to load another but it keeps putting the old one back yes even though I tick delete old photo! Hey Ho!

Katy was found to-day yipeeee! she was seen to cross the railway line and the Farmer caught her!

She is ok a bit too thin but owner says she knows where she is and is happy to be home.

dividon and I were there (at different times) we were both very near to where she must have been!

I am going round with Dividon on Wed to see her and give her a cuddle. xxx

Me and Dave have had a wander around the cycle track this evening, have put some more food down. Horrible, wet and very muddy around there, so hope Katy has found somewhere dry and safe.

Sadly no :( been going all week putting food down, spoke to loads of people that walk the route daily and have a friend going to-day and Sunday Dividon is going, thanks guys It is very sad, we just hope we get another sighting or she finds her way home.

Have been again to-day a bit earlier this time spoke to the builders that are doing a huge construction on this Cycle path a big bridge over the railway line (I guess because there is going to eventually be loads of houses on gorgeous countryside, Swindon Council eh! ) Any how got told off for parking me car at the beginning of the track (neatly to one side and a lovely note saying what I was doing and how to contact me) because a huge lorry with aggregate had a job to get by! Anyhow the man went on to say that some of the builder chappies saw Katy two weeks ago at the back of John Lewis which is the same track but quite a long way off from where she has been sighted recently and they tried to catch her ,,,I thanked him!

So she could be making her way up the track towards Blaygrow where there is an underpass which will come out into Freshbrook Park not far from home.....I hope she makes it soon !

Dividon went there today put food down and sat for a while ,,,,,,,,,,,,nothing :(

We need some positive thinking here to get Katy to show her self,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I will try to get there tomorrow ,,,traffic too bad to get there this PM, flippin road works.

Will try to get an organised search going if we can get enough lovely peeps?

Food & scented this afteernoon.

Owner is unwell I expect after all the exertion looking for Katy on Sat after the sighting, I worry for this couple if we dont find her:(

Sadly saw and heard nothing this morning, nothing out of the ordinary and my dog did not pick up on anything really :(
Spoke to loads of peeps and put up more Posters so hope someone will come forward.
Have let owners know they were dissapointed....:(

The bird song this morning was beautiful & a lovely Thrush was singing his heart out.

Been again tonight met up with the fab person that SAW Katy and to-day heard her bark and cry :( Dividon duo also came along thanks Guys xxx ,,, its right by the works going on where they are putting a bridge over the Railway, sighter heard her in the brambles but unfortunatly we heard and saw nothing :( I have scented this area and put food around so hope she will now stay in this area , have also alerted her owners who bless them were searching further down to-day and lost a shoe in the mud. I will be out at Crack of Sparrow tomorrow so will Dividon and the lovely Sighter, later on in the day ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,so fingers crossed

NB: Its a fab place for wild life I saw a Little Egrett yesterday the bird song is wonderful,,,,,,,,,,,,shame about all the flippin rubbish !

Thanks for the advice Lisa123 I will bear that in mind , had a good look round this morning & put Pee down & one of her soft toys so hopefully she will pick up on the scent.

Thanks Divadon I will pop over again tonight.

Anyone got a Cat Trap they could lend me , no worries I will check it every day and hide it well, I have big traps only & hubby is setting about making one but in the meantime if anyone can help please?

Oh bless her. I have Yorkies always have had them and they usually tend to hide if frightened. Hopefully this will keep her away from noise etc. My mum lost her Yorkie a few years back and she was found 4 days later hiding behind a rock .

Yep not long got back met up with Divadon which is a lovely duo thanks guys.

Left food & Posters (& One at John Lewis!)and will leave scent tomorrow as now got pee from Katy's owners bless them, they had gone to bed but were very glad to see me and my sniffer dog.

Our Fab Dog Warden has also been walking the route looking for Katy this afternoon and has asked Joggers and the like .

Yes Lisa she was sighted on her own quite a distance for a little dog she would have had to cross a busy road or go on the under path, unfortunatly there is also a main line Train that runs paralell with this cycle track but she could go towards the canal or over the fields to Wroughton in between is the M4 motorway !!!
Poor little mite its windy and raining tonight! :(

Thanks everyone! Toothill area would be a good place to start with Postering, Postering is very important as it makes it difficult if some one has her i.e Too Hot To Handle & if anyone has seen her they know where to call, thats my mobile and email BTW land line is owner.

If anyone has contacts with the media could they help!

This is a terrible thing to have happened to an elderly couple and Katy was from a Rescue, its all so sad :(

I am miles away but I brought up Toothill Swindon on google and have emailed as many as I can find. Hopefully local people will get involved ie schools, churches especially if they get to know the story.

So sorry Katy is not home yet. Would it be worth someone local or who knows the couple to contact BBC Wiltshire. Just thinking with Katy's story of her past and the elderly couples health etc they might just take an interest. I know the East Midlands news do this kind of thing sometimes.

Have been around Toothill area of Swindon this morning & note not enough posters are up so any help with that would be appreciated I have done the Community Hall where fortunatly there was a dog training class on at the time! Doctors nxt door & Asda. Katy's owners are elderly so need all the help they can get to find KATY please!
