- Have just rung and found that Alfie had been picked up more or less at the end of the road where he lives on the night he escaped. Finders kept him over the weekend and when saw one of the missing posters for him made contact yesterday. Thanks to them for looking after him over the weekend. Great to see he is back home. Hopefully he will get also get a chip !! Welcome home Alfie xx

- The person who has put Alfie on Doglost is a friend of his owner (who doesnt have internet access) and said he escaped from the garden. Leeds Dog warden hasnt been notified yet as the offices were closed when they rang, so stressed the importance of registering Alfie with them first thing Monday. Gave the contact details and tel numbers for Cliffe Kennels, Mount Pleasant, Alfies Boarding Kennels and Fleet Kennels at Bradford to check if he has been taken there. A couple of vets have been notified but no posters up so advised how to print them off from D.L. and get lots up in the area in case he has been taken in over the weekend by someone local. Alfie is described as crossed with a poodle and jack russell but is a medium sized dog. He could have been wearing either a blue collar OR a "camouflage" patterned one but no ID tag. Hope he is back home soon. xx
