this is heartbreaking news-how can anyone be so cruel. i notice it is leicestshire- same county as those 2 greyhounds-wonder if it could be connected as both incidents are so despicable. run free lovely ronnie xx

Sorry, but nothing surprizes me in this day and age. Just so sad they probably won't be caught and can go on and do it again to someone elses pet. So sorry to Ronnie's family. RIP Ronnie. liz xx

It would appear that Ronnie was taken and drowned and then returned to owners - I am sickened to the core that humans could do something like this - the email address that we have on record is coming back as undeliverable

I have put posters out and alerted people including my family members who live in Stoney Stanton. Took my dogs out for nearly 2 hours in the area of Carey Hill between Stoney Stanton and Sapcote today but no sighting.
