- I am so happy she is home. PLEASE get her microchipped. My girl was gone for 18 months, if it hadn't been for her chip I would never have got her home. Regards, Liz

- Thanks for the update Mollychops, I had heard that she had been picked up and then escaped in Goring so could be anywhere now or may have tried to make her way back to where she first went missing. Stay safe Holly

- Thanks for your hard work here Coxy1588 and Lizzy. Im in the process of contacting the racing yards in the area. If someone could please poster around the town , shops , pubs where the lads drink etc, that would be great! I will pinpoint the exact spot she dissapeaered when I next speak to owner.

- Maybe it could get announced on radio stations in the different counties, as she could have gone into any of them.

- Hi. I spent an hour up there today tracking with my dobes. Only thi
g they were flushing out were deer, oddly enough!can owners be contacted and asked for direction the dog was last seen heading etc. Towards road or back towards hill? They should of been able to see didcot power station from there, can they give a direction in relation to that? - 2011-02-05 20:55 Reynard
- Thanks all xxx

- Also, that area is heavily used by the race horse fraternity to training etc. If you google "lambourne racing stables" it'll give you a list of all the stables near there. It'd be worth pinging them an email to keep their eyes peeled.

- Jayne/Reynard - be worth contacting these guys. They are volunteers who "adopt"stretches of the ridgeway and maintain and walk the hills regularly
NTvolunteers@oxfordshire.gov.uk or phone on 01865 810211. - 2011-02-05 17:03 Unknown
- Are there any gamekeepers that can be contacted?
- 2011-02-05 15:02 Reynard
- Thanks Coxy have sent an email to all the ones listed
Thanks everyone for your help & suggestions....keep it coming xxx - 2011-02-05 14:14 Jayne - Founder Doglost.

- I've posted a facebook shout for you as lots of my friends walk their dogs there. Sadly, I can't get up there today but will defo go tomorrow. There is a farm near the White horse. Have they had a leaflet?
- 2011-02-05 12:54 coxy1588
- Hi. The ridgeway runs through berks,ox and wilts. The White horse is on the wilts/ox border. I will check up there tomorrow and inform the local game keeper straight away. Is the dog likely to come to me if I take my dobies up there or will that scare him off? A friend also lives at the foot of the White horse. I'll make him aware too. Fingers crossed.
