Such amazing news. Her owners must be over the moon; ecstatic, and elated to have their pet back home with them. I often wonder if these dogs remember their original owners after such a long time? Hi twoDs...I cannot answer that as unaware of where Missie was found and by whom.The dog warden concerned is doing preliminary checks as required and we will update when more is known.

Unbelievable. So sad that her owner has missed out on so much, 11 years of sadness and not knowing, and that this little one has lived her life with another family - hopefully at the very least a happy loved life. xxx

Have spoken to vixxm - sighting was around Elaine gardens nr aley green area. Owner has been here and erected a poster. I have been here today and searched woods at bottom of Elaine gardens, woodside rd & mancroft rd. Nothing further to report

I live and own a shop in Caddington, a village beside Newlands rd, there has been a report of a small scruffy dog hanging around a clients door at night, but runs away when she approaches,the client thought it had silvery colour in it though,will see her this afternoon and show her the picture, will print off the poster and put in my shop window today

I spoke briefly with owners earlier today,Missie is missing from Newlands Road off the A1081 close to J10 of the M1. She and another BT were on the owners property which has a freedom fence around it - the dogs were inspecting some rabbit holes and within 3 minutes Missie had disappeared, she is not a dog to wander or go off with strangers. Owners have dug out many many rabbit holes but no sign of Missie anywhere, roads, hedges and surrounding area has been well searched. Posters will be going up in the local area which hopefully may bring some news - all the correct people have been contacted so spreading the word further is our biggest chance of getting her returned.

Hi, we are also missing our Border Terrier at the moment (Oscar 27306) so I know exactly what your going through and how devastating it is... I live in Essex but my boyfriend lives in Dunstable so I am driving around the Harpenden/Luton area quite a bit so will keep my eye out for Missie, I really hope she comes home soon. x
