Have spoken to owners who are doing a fabulous job. Hope that Rufus will be found soon. Have agreed to poster some places in SW if not already covered.

I know the owners and friends have searched the area and are continuing to do so on a regular basis in the hope that he is still in the area but they have had no reported sightins of him

have woods be checked locally in case his collar is caught up like the poor dog from little walden. That poor dog was only found 1 mile away from where missing 5 weeks later lead caught on branches. I do keep looking around the fields out towards debden road where I go walking with my dog.

Thanks mrswrigs for offering to help, we need to keep Rufus's profile high in the area he went missing in so if you able to put posters up and help spread the word this would be good. it may well be worth you speaking to the owner's to find out which areas have been postered so not to go over the same ground, many thanks for helping

Is there anything those of us local can do to help or to boost awareness?

Which way was he going? - have postered in my car back window which is seen by many on school run in Saffron Walden. Will keep eyes open when walking my pack anywhere.

I'm keeping my eyes peeled, and will put a poster up on my walk tonight. I live near Addenbrooke's hospital, which I know is a fair way away, but you never know! Good luck in the search!

Have spoken to the owner and Rufus jumped the fence and ran off over the fields. Owners have done all the right things, dog warden's and all local vets have been notified. Posters are up in the area. I will E-mail general information and further advice to the owner. Stay safe Rufus until you are found xxx

What a gorgeous-looking dog. Is he a Beardie cross? (Maybe even a Beardie cross Border?) It might make it easier for wardens etc to match him up if so, rather than just looking for a cross breed. Hope he's soon home safe anyway x

Poster e mailed to helpers in CB1,2,10,11. SG8.

Sorry to see that RUFUS is missing.
