Hi all, thank you to everyone who was concerned. Davy returned home, all by himself today. A little hungry and a little muddy but otherwise well. He is currently enjoying all the attention !! I dont have a clue how to change his status to FOUND tho !! Sami (Davys owner)

Thanks Barbara !
Sadly there is still no news of Davy! His owners think he will have stayed in hiding with weather remaining so windy over the last few days but are hopeful that with an improvement in the weather today he may be tempted to come out of hiding. he has done this before and hidden for up to a week so we are hopeful he will be back soon. Two of his owners are out searching for him at the moment and fingers crossed they find him. Unfortunately there is no photo of Davy available. Come on Davy the wind has gone and its time to go home x Pam

Owners have called me back. They are trying to get hold of a photo of him and will send one into us if they can. He is described as looking like a young german shepherd and may have some husky in him. Davy is a very nervous dog and ran off because he was scared of the high winds and he may well be hiding up locally or have run off further afield. His owners have contacted Carlton Forest kennels and the dog warden and we discussed that they may need to contact dog wardens in surrounding areas in case Davy has bolted away from his local area. He is microchipped but his owners need to contact the chipping company to check they have the correct contact details. Davy is very timid and unlikely to allow anyone to approach him ....... if you sight him please call his owners !
