So very sorry to report that Ben was involved in a fatal RTA.
God bless that lovely wee boy. God will keep him in his beautiful garden forever where he will play to his heart's content and will always be safe there.

Email from Ben's owner.-----------
Sadly we got a call last night from someone who had seen Ben's poster informing us that on the morning he went missing around 9.10am she was passing junction 1 on the M74 and a little black dog had just been hit and killed. I knew instantly it had to be our wee Ben. After finaly managing to get the police who were not that much help to 1st tell us that indeed a few reports had been made that morning and 2nd to help us find who had removed him and where he was taken. After doing so we made a phone call to confirm it was wee Ben and went up last night to collect him and bring him home to give him a proper burial that he deserved, even though he was only with us for a short while he has given us a lot of special memories. He really was a great wee guy.

I would like to thank you for everything you did to help us try and find Ben from the posters to sending out the e-mails and just showing you cared an were there for us at our time of need so from myself and family thank you.

Spoken to owner and given advice. Sent poster to her and to Scottish rescues. Hope this lovely boy is found soon.
