Have now spoken to the owner and he is doing everything possible to find Max. I have advised that posters are sent to neighbouring towns and that the highways dept are contacted. Also suggested flyers are made up and posted through doors. Local farmers have been notified but so far there have been no sightings at all.

Called landline but no answer so have sent a text.

Hi Lizzy we have checked all the fields from the new walk down to the Trent and all the woods and fields up towards the villages. We have put posters up with a clearer picture on the following morning his disappearance around where he went missing and other dog walks and notice boards in the surrounding villages. We have contacted police, dog wardens for lincolnshire, and bassetlaw, rang the vets. We have checked all the roads and hedgerows and ditches for a body.............nothing.

Clearer photo being emailed to admin.

Has the gainsborough road been checked and the willingham road. There are a lot of fields around there, so he could have gone quite a way.

Trying to get a clearer photo for the poster.
