- Jeannette thanks for the much awaited update and it was worth waiting for. Your hubby is one HERO. I've been following the Great Dane Forum when I could and they have been fantastic. It was heart wrenching to see your posts everyone really felt for you. But you have got the result we all prayed for and you can now get some well earned rest. Give your big softie a big hug. Jan x

- Hi all, Daisy is asleep, and I've got a cuppa and thought I'd explain how we got her home. Hubby was on the way home from work and as he was scanning each side of the lancs for her. he saw her head looking at the Lanc, on the other side He managed to pull over and parked on the path, He had to cross the Lancs and when he gor near to her she tried to get away, he called to her and kept talking to her as she barked at him, as she came forward to smell his hands he managed to grab her, she was struggling and he had to lie on her, all the time talking to her and stroking her, she then began to fall asleep he phoned home and how I ran,,,,,,,YES RAN,,,,,,,, I dont know........I have RA lol......then my daughter caught up with me and ran all the way to the with the collar and lead. I was sobbing when I saw them crossing the Lancs, I called her when she was walking towards me, and she wagged her tail, but didnt want to be cuddled, we had to lift her into the car, I wasnt risking walkking her home, she then lay her head on my knee. Home, she jumped out of the car, bounded to the front door her tail going mad, lol, She is skinny, very thirsty and has had about 4 small meals. but otherwise she is fine. I cant believe she is home, and cant stop looking at her and cuddling her...........she looks at me as if to say 'Go away you mad woman............stop with the cuddles' lol We are getting her microchipped this week or next, just letting her relax before anymore stressing out, then her op, as soon as we can. I cant begin to thank everyone on the GREAT DANE OWNERS FORUM, all their support and help has got me through, from the 'USELESS SEARCH AND RESCUE TEAM' lol Sarahs description, not mine, to DeeDee, who is miles away from me, and everyone who were planning to travel 100's of miles to help us search. YOU ARE ALL AMAZING, I LOVE YOU XX and theres everyone from DOGLOST, amazing work you do, JAN, I thank you from the bottom of my heart, you gave me advice and support,xx THANK YOU ALL, Jeannette, and Daisy xxxxxxxxxxxx

- Possible SIGHTING of Daisy running across the East Lancs, yesterday. Jeannette has been trying to find out more details, they do live off the East Lancs. Members of the Great Dane forum are being so supportive with Jeannette who is obviously distraught. I will try and speak to her tonight when I get home from work. Come on Daisy we want to see you back home with your mum. Jan x
