- So pleased to hear that the found dog was Cooper and that he was picked up safely without mishap! Good to hear he has eaten a lovely chicken dinner and is now sleeping it off. At least you now have the chance to find out why his chip was not picked up. Good idea is to have it checked on each visit to the vet in case it has travelled as they sometimes do. Hope Cooper has learnt his lesson and will stay close to you in future

- Hi thank you so much you wonderful people, I m Coopers very relieved owner. I spoke to lady who actually picked him up, he actually was running across the A1 and caused cars to break. She was a vet student and stopped to offer assistance thinking he had been hurt, fortunately he hadn't. She didn't know the area very well and took him to grantham police station who then rang the dog warden who took him to some kennels in sleaford fens. I will be sorting the chip thing out tomorrow, I m really disappointed that this safety measure failed. Thank you again for all your help and kindness. Cooper is fast asleep and has been since his roast chicken dinner. Thank you thank you Kerry and Cooper

- yes owner mentioned that someone else had also spotted the match and had been in touch! Bet he's enjoying the chicken dinner....making me hungry!

- Yes, it was Cooper! Glynafon had already spotted him on AnimalSearch UK and flagged him up to the team so I gave owner a call, and she was just collecting him when she got the text from Deb4gsd. Thanks ever so much, it's great that we have such sharp-eyed helpers. No idea what happened to his chip, it will be checked at vets to see if it has travelled. Cooper is extremely filthy and very tired and hungry. He is enjoying a roast chicken dinner before a bath and a nice sleep.

- Hi, this little dog has been in the 'found' section last two days on animal search, and it's just too much of a coincidence to not be your Cooper! They say he's not microchipped, but he was picked up the day he went missing on the A1 between Newark and Grantham, Nots. Description is the same! fingers crossed it's your dog and his microchip had just wandered!
