- Elzwater if you let me know which vets etc that you have contacted i can help by contacting any others in the area that you may not be aware of. A lot of people go out of area for vets as Waltham Abbey only has the one.
I am keeping my eyes open for her and making as many people aware of her as possible.
Do you have a more recent photo of her? as she still looks like a puppy in the poster pic, and that might not register with anyone who may have seen her that it is the same dog. She does have very distinctly marked front legs though and that is what i have been looking out for. - 2011-03-05 14:53 Elzwalter
- Thank you so much. I am going to try and contact the schools on Monday, to see if they will put something in the newsletters. I'm not sure if they will be allowed but its worth a go.

- We are going to go out postering around parklands, ninefields, abbeyfields and honey lane today. My youngest son goes to KHS so i am going to give him some posters to spread the word among the teenagers that Gypsy is missing. Hopefully someone will know who has taken her in.
Jane123 and I work together and she is going to speak to her friend who is a dog groomer in Chingford and the vets Vetcall in chingford to keep an eye out for her. - 2011-03-04 19:32 Elzwalter
- She went missing from Takeley Close, she was last seen running down the alley towards the school. We have put up posters, and tried speaking to a few of the mums outside the school. The problem is Gypsy is my Mother in Laws dog and she is disabled. I live in Harlow and have been driving over everyday to help out. We have done Tescos in the Abbey and the doctors surgery, the shops in Upshire all the parks, the co-op, the dog salon, the off licence etc...Would greatly appreciate any help possible, I have called all the vets, dog wardens, kennels.

- Where in upshire did Gypsy go missing from? I live in Abbeyfields by the Marriot hotel.
Have you postered Tesco and in the town?. My neighbours Lhasa went missing last year and we postered the town and around all the schools and we got her back 12 hours later.
It would be worthwhile going to the school and handing out some flyers.
I will get some posters printed and get them up in as many places as possible over the weekend. - 2011-03-04 10:55 Elzwalter
- Hi Janni, I have tried to call the number on the ad but its just ringing. It doesn't sound like Gypsy as she had a pink collar and this dog has a red one. And she is micro chipped, and as far as know Gypsy isn't. But I think its still worth ringing. I would also just like to add, that the picture on here of Gypsy is sometime ago, she is now alot bigger and her hair isn't as long, as she is regularly clipped, but she was due to go the dog salon the day after she disappeared, so her hair was ready for a clip.

- Thank you all for your help and suggestions, we went to Hillside today and have given them our poster etc, so hopefully they will get in touch. We are missing Gypsy like crazy and as we have no sightings are beginning to think someone has taken her in. We just hope they will see our posters and get in touch. The saddest thing is the children who just don't understand, my eldest son who is eight keeps demanding we check outside the house every two minutes and gets upset if we don't go straight away insisting that Gypsy was there and we didn't listen to him quick enough. More leaflet to do tomorrow, trying to stay positive.

- So sorry to see Gypsy is missing, she looks so sweet! Put up as many posters as you possibly can. Also inform vets in your area, and take a poster to your postal delivery sorting office as postmen cover a lot of ground an do keep an eye out if they are aware of lost dogs. Hope this little cutie is soon home safe and sound.
