Spoken to the owner today for an update and im happy to say that Buster was found at Leigh Cats and Dogs..Have advised owner to get the chip details updated ASAP, especially as its not the first time he has gone walk abouts! (The tag has been updated) :)Last edited: 2011-09-28 11:28:25

Hi, I volunteer as a dog walker at Manchester Dogs Home in Harpurhey and was there on Sat 11th June when I walked an old (they said around 12 yrs old) tri coloured border collie dog who matches the brief description above. He had no name but was very nervous and had only arrived there 2-3 weeks earler. Could this be your dog and he's been roaming around for a few months before being picked up? I have a few photos of him, let me know if you want to look at them if you haven't found this dog. Thanks Victoria

Have we no other details for this dog yet? The Heaton area isn't far from my mum's house so I can search when I go over there, but don't want to be covering ground already searched

Thanks Witchy-poos, I looked on the Homeless Hounds website and cannot see a Tri BC, it may have been reunited with its owner. Jan x
