- Monique, thank you so much for registering on DL and posting an udate. Thanks also for the text earlier today. It was such a relief to get the great news that you had got her back and what a clever girl returning back to where she last seen you, this is very often the case with missing dogs. Your circumstances were harder with you being so far from your own home and you or Darcy not knowing the area.
Thanks again for registering and as you have been there you will be an asset to others who find themselves in the same situation. Jan x

- Hello. This is Monique, Darcys owner. So deeply relieved to get her back last night, she was where we had lost her, 11 hours later !! Thanks so much to Shirley and Jan for the support and help which allowed me to remain calm (ish !!!) during an incredibly stressful day. I have just joined DOGSLOST so I can be a support to other dog owners in this way. BIG BIG thanks again for all the advise

- Sorry to see Darcy has gone missing, great that Shirley was in the area to offer immediate help and support. Petlog were fab and found owner with llimited details they passed owners mobile number on so I was able to confirm it was the right owner. As Shirley has said owner is distraught.

- Ashdown Forest is a huge area .. Darcy went missing from the back of Forest Row and was being walked from the 'Goat Cross Roads' so she might appear back in that area. Please can anyone in the Forest Row, Nutley, Sharpthorne area please keep their eyes open for any sightings of Darcy - thank you

- I only met Darcy's owner whilst walking my own dogs on the forest - the owner is obviously incredibly upset.
* There are alot of people out searching now.
* The microchip company have been notified. - 2011-03-13 14:44 Shirley4Collies
- Darcy went missing today, Sunday 13th March at 10.30am. She chased a deer.
* Owners have other dogs who are staying in the area searching.
* Owners do not live locally and Darcy does not know the area (down with friends for the weekend).
* Darcy went off after a deer. She is wearing a collar with ID tag, is microchipped and is also wearing a citronella spray collar (which sadly did not stop her chasing the deer). Darcy is a much loved pet and is usually very obedient when deer aren't involved. Darcy is dog and people friendly, but can be nervous. - 2011-03-13 14:40 Shirley4Collies
- Hi all .. I have been with the owner for a while after Darcy went missing and have passed on lots of details and have informed her of the best things to do when a dog is lost. Have spent the last 4 hours searching - owner is still out looking.

- When exactly was Darcy lost, today ? as this dog was sighted last week not that far away :-
Hi everyone.. Is anyone missing a dark red Wheaton Ridgeback / cross in the Maidstone area. A friend of mine has noticed her feeding from local bins on a regular basis over the last week. From the details he has given me she looks to have been either used for breeding or has had at least one litter.. My friend believes she may be a Ridgeback / Mastiff cross but not certain. If anyone knows anything about this then please let me know..
