Dumped maybe after being in the CMW? This is so weird was filming with channel 4 yesterday in Guildford and they were saying they really wish they had been able to see the dog reunited for their documentary and today its happened! and Sammy was found in Guilford...small world.

I have just spoke to Sammy's owner Tom.Sammy was found outside someones house.she heard a noise and it was sammy running in the road.Sammy has had his fur and tail shaved as he was covered in road tar.
The people who took him had left his colour on and the lady who found him running in the road called up tom to let him know she had him.Sammy was found in guilford

SAMMY HAS BEEN FOUND!!!!!!!!!
After all the hard work put in by lelya it is somewhat of s surprise that she has only learnt TODAY from someone in her local shop that Sammy was found about 2 weeks ago.
Found and i presume reunited as he was microchipped.

I have tried to phone owner to get more information but unable to make contact. Sammy is definately home as Leyla has passed his house and he can be seen sitting in the window with owners other dog.

No news or sightings at all for Sammy. Owners other dog is missing him veru much and has started to pine away.

We need to know where Sammy is . Has anyone seen a person with a ''new aquired dog'' like Sammy. has anyone offered a dog like him for sale??

please keep up posters and we just hope someone somewhere has the much needed clue to get him home to his elderly worried owner.

Sammy was on Gatland Lane at the end of Burghclere Drive - on the same side of the road. Just opposite the end of Chamberlain Avenue but on the other side of the road. Hope that this helps. Thanks

Hi, I was one of the people to spot Sammy on Gatland Road on Fri.11th. From the other recent sighting in Gatland Lane sounds like he's still in the area. Have you tried taking a poster into Bower Grove school? The large playing field backs onto the area near to where I saw him. Let me know if not and I can take one in. Keeping my eyes peeled for Sammy

50 posters done today and a 4 hour walk around with my friends and another 30 done tonight 2 1/2 hours looking in the dark for poor Sammy.

We're going to have a MASS dog search where Sammy was last seen. PLEASE join in. We're meeting at The Fox at 6 tomorrow night and going to search until around 7 around Gatland lane where 2 possible sightings of little Sammy was last seen. Bring torches, leashes,dog treats whatever. PLEASE post this on if you live if the area.

Area Sammy is missing from is off the main Tonbridge road heading towards Barming area from town centre.Mote park is on the other side of town centre towards Bearsted grove gren area.

If you leave maidstone and head up past the west station then take a first left and go down towards upper fant road that is the area he went from. upper fant ruins parallel with tonbridge road till it runs into an orcahrd area if you then bear right you come up via gatland lane where a similar dog spotted then onto Fant lane which leads back onto the main tonbrdge road opposite Queens road.

Hope that helps pin point areas

Photo on site is a very good likenes to Sammy so much that it upset the owner when he saw it!
Leyla has been a trouper out today getting posters out all along upperfant the pubs and shops up tonbridge road- tescos express were not allowed but the pizza place and other take aways have put them out plus council workers in Claire park have put posters up and taken them for cornwwallis park oposite side of road further down tonbrdge road.She has also contacted all local vets and given them the chip number as well. in all she has put out 150 poster so a terrific effort and WELL DONE!!

Hoping the KM will run the story in this weeks edition thanks to shelties mum.

I suspect he may be dumped if he barks all the time and has a skin condition. Too much hassle for a thief. Any CCTVs at the shops? A photo would be great.

Sammy is a sandy / ginger long coated chihuahua.He has a longer snout for this breed of dog.
he needs important medication for his skin complaint.he was stolen outside bower stores in maidstone on 9th march at 10:15am.
He was seen being dragged along bower place towards upper fant road by a white stocky built man rough age 18 - 25 but more towards the higher end of this age.
He had black hair and was approx 5 ft 8,wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.
In order to take sammy he had to undo the other dog is was with - he then tied the other dog back and just took Sammy.
