It turns out that Titch had crossed a stream and was on the otherside of a fishing lake when he was found the finder waded across the stream to get to him - he was freezing cold, plastered in mud and very frightened.
Update is he has had a bath and has had a good meal so all is well with little one x

Just spoken to a very relieved owner, she is now on her way to pick Titch up. He was found in the river!!! One very lucky lad! Owners are taking him straight to the vets to have him checked over, hopefully he will be ok. I'm hoping Danielle will update us when she gets the chance. Welcome home Titch xxx

hope so, we have left flyers with our telephone numbers, hes quite a clever dog, so hopefully he will find some shelter. and show himself in the morning! thank you

May be worth taking a piece of worn clothing to the place that you last saw him - dogs often make their way back to the place they last saw their owners and he may stay with the clothing overnight, try to go out just before daybreak - he may well be hanging around for you - A local coordinator will be in touch with more information and local contact numbers
