Sorry for the poor quality of them, my cameraphone isnt all that great.
Hes back with us for now, Wardens have been notified, i'll contact the police tomorrow but in all honesty i get the feeling he has been dumped. The type of dog that he is and the kind of collar he is wearing i suspect he was a travlers dog.
House trained, very friendly, good with other dogs, Quiet content in a crate so is curled up tonight on a mountain of beds to make sure hes comfy. Looks a little on the skinny side but i'll worm him and just put him on raw along with my lot.
I will be going out tomorrow morning and putting posters though the doors of all the surrounding houses on the off chance he wasnt dumped and i'll go and ask at a few of the farms.
Hes a very lucky dog as it was a national speed limit, down hill and we must have been going best part of 35mph when he was hit. I was ironically my dog van which is fitted out with cages so he was put straight in the back once I realised he wasnt dead.
My vet has very kindly waivered any fees for him so far, he is due back on friday to have stiches and drain taken out.
he has been checked with 2 different machines for a chip, no tatoo or anything like that, tis a shame as he seems so far to be a very sweet little dog. - 2011-03-22 22:59 littlehelper
