- I am so pleased to see you have your lovely dog back home. I was saddened to hear that he had been taken. We have 3 dogs of our own and live in the area, and it is heart breaking to hear anything like this. What a fabulous result!

Welcome home Dexter xx Lovely reunited picture. - 2011-04-21 22:20 LYDNSYD
- I've spoken to Nick and he is over the moon to have Dexter back home. Dexter is very sleepy and a little quiet but that is only to be expected considering he was presumably dumped and was found wandering the streets - if only he could talk! As Reynard says, it is so worth Dog Wardens putting Found Dogs on this site as without that Dexter could have been rehomed. Dexter was microchipped but the chip didn't show up when scanned so it also goes to show how important it is to get your dogs microchips checked out regularily. As for the people who stole him - the less said about them the better!!

- Any news on Dexter? Did the police come up with anything or the Pub CCTV? Have you thought about putting a Photo Ad in the newspapers? I've noticed that the posters I've put up are getting rain damaged so will have to replace them.... if he is still missing!!

- No Luck yet. I will be putting posters up near a few more Traveller Sites in the hope that something happens, Im also going to put some posters up in schools as I've done most of the local pubs, shops and garages. A few people with connections in some local sites have come back with nothing we have a FaceBook page thats helping to get the word out http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_196901367009361¬if_t=group_activity

- 2011-03-24 23:07 LYDNSYD
- Really hope the Police can help find the Low Life that took your little boy. As Spindle says you need to saturate the area with Posters - I went along Church Lane yesterday as far as Reading Caravans but didn't see any Posters.
- 2011-03-24 19:27 Spindle
- Nickdexter, I have texted you offering advice. Hopefully CCTV may help in this case, make sure loads of posters up all around the area.
- 2011-03-24 19:10 Nickdexter

- Valley vets now have Posters and will give some to their other practices. While I was at Thatcham Garden Centre I also left one of Dexter with the Pet Store. Will also add Dexter's Poster at Sulham Woods to the ones I've put up for missing Scruff (RG7) Any more news on Dexter???

- Hi this is only a few miles from me. It is a Hungry Horse pub and tends to attract regulars so are they? If they are, the staff would recognise them. You have to pay before you eat so did they eat, if they did they pay was it by credit card. This pub is popular with Whitley as the footbridge over the M4 comes out right next to the pub. So would be worth postering the Whitlet area/shops too.

- If Dexter has been Dognapped you will have to make him too Hot to Handle! POSTER like Mad including Pubs around the area plus all the Vets, Petrol Stations ..everywhere!!. Did anyone in the Six Bells recognise the two men? Don't suppose they have CCTV! If you can contact the Reading Newspapers - they might do a write up on him or failing that perhaps you can put an Ad in the paper the sooner the better just incase he is Sold on or taken out of the area. If Dexter is insured they sometimes cover the cost. I will hand in some Posters at Valley Vets for you as they have practises At Pangbourne, Tutts Clump and also Shinfield. I hope you have sweet Dexter back home with you soon.
