tracenfozz, hope you get some results with this and it makes them make sure they get ID and proof before another dog is taken away. Usually this is asked for when dogs are claimed from kennels etc. I will ring you tomorrow to see how you are, get some well earned rest now. Jan x

We will be following your advice, even though we now know that there is no problem with her chip I can't trust the wardens after making us think there is a problem with it twice. The vet said the chip is in exactly the right place and has not moved, he did not see a problem with it at all but did not seem to have much faith in how the wardens work. I would like to try and work on getting them to improve the way they work. Our dog was handed over to a stranger who was not asked for any ID, proof that the dog was theirs or where she was being taken to, they did not even get a name. Wardens in our area do not take pictures of the dogs either. I would hate for anybody to have to go through what we have these last 5 days, it has been awful. All I can say is thank god for Jan and dogslost.co.uk!x

Tracenfozz, thank your for your comments it was a pleasure to work with you you acted quickly and that was great.

Thank you for the lovely REUNITED photo/s to finish her page off nicely, we love to see the type of photo/s. Great she has had the o.k. from the vet and her chip was reading o.k. Please get an ID tag and also get on engraved something to say her chip maybe missed to alert finders if ever she wandered off again, which hopefully she won't. Jan x

We would just like to say a huge thank you to everybody who has made Missy's safe return possible, it has been a very stressful 5 days and without the support we would never have got where we are now. Missy is very happy to be home and has had a trip to the vets to confirm her chip is in full working order. We are a very happy family again and would like to say an extra special thank you to Jan, who has been amazing, she has gone out of her way for my family and has kept us positive throughout. Jan you do a wonderful job and deserve a medal. I can not thank you enough x x

I was such a relief to get the alert from her mum that Missy was HOME. It was her who had been found as posted in my earlier post 29.03.11. The work her family put in to find her and all the support they got especially from her FACEBOOK Group was brilliant and it paid off. We have been in constant touch with her family throughout their ordeal.

The posters worked their magic once again and MADE HER TOO HOT TO HANDLE. Hopefully we will be getting a REUNITED photo of the gorgeous Missy.

THANK YOU to each and everyone of you who has helped in the search. Jan x

Thanks natalie will take a look a.s.a.p.

Spoken to owner who is working her way through the info/advice and following things up. Petlog have now been notified, Manchester Dog's Home was visited this morning. DW's further afield are being contacted and other kennels.

Missy wandered off from her home when the gate was accidently left open. Posters have not been getting put up yet but will be done a.s.a.p. There are a lot of family in the area looking out for Missy. Jan x

May be worth checking that found dog, http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog_blog.php?dogId=28830, is definitely a male, as it is the double of Missy, the marking are exactly the same and the found dog was also wearing a silver choke chain. Natalie
