Sadly even though some of our co-ordinators have spent a lot of time searching for the owners, nobody has managed to make contact, so this little chap will be going to a new home.

I have just left yet another message on the mobile stating that they need to contact me urgently as it has been decided that Shadow will be re-homed if the original owners don't make contact before 5o'clock this evening. The council and kennels have bent over backwards to help and I cannot thank them enough.

The lady at the council has called me back this morning saying they have contacted the rehoming kennels and they agree that the puppy can go back to it's original owner. However none of us can get hold of them. I and the council have called and sent text but they are all going unanswered. Also the longer this goes on the more fees there will be to pay. I have also sent an email in the hope that I get a reply.

Have been trying to call owners but getting no reply. This little dog was picked up and taken to kennels. Nobody came forward to claim him and today he has been rehomed. The council are being very helpful and trying to make contact with both the rescue kennels and the new owners to see if they are willing to hand him back but legally he now belongs to them and it's their decision. The council lady is going to call be back when she gets a reply.

Saw a very similar pup only yesterday at the Asda, it was with a family all on foot so must be local to the store.
