I gather from a late night text message from one of my flatcoat friends that this dog has now been found. Proving that the internet does work! Would appreciate it if this is confirmed however.

Has the owner alerted the Flatcoated Retriever Society? Although I am nowhere about this area it is our breed Championship show at Stoneleigh on Sunday and flatcoat people come from all over the country. I could take posters there and will alert other flatcoat owners I know immediately so that information can be spread to all areas.
