- Very pleased Milly has been found. She has got a fantastic new home with brill owners who adore dogs AND in a great village. Accidents happen, sometimes dogs can take you by surprise at how strong they can be when they get freaked out. Here's wishing Milly a long life : )

- So very glad Milly has been found. I had put a notice up in the vets, they are delighted. She looks beautiful. I heartily agree with Jaycee's comments.Last edited: 2011-04-01 10:11:22 by Russkaya

- I'm so glad this little one is home safely. I'm sure you were all worried sick over her 'adventure'. With the best of intentions, accidents happen. Have a long and happy life Milly - you're lovely! Jo xx

- I'm so pleased to see this little one home safe and sound. I've had a similar thing happen with one of mine with a flexi-lead - if they catch you by suprise its so easy for them to be whipped out of your hand. I solved this by attaching an over the hand strap to the handle and/or using a long training lead sometimes too. I hope Milly is very happy in her new home! xx

- I am always overjoyed when a dog makes it home but I was particularly overjoyed at this one. One of mine came from ManyTears and I know how hard they work to make sure the dogs get to the right homes.

- OMG!!! You wouldn't believe how relieved I am to read this. Hardly slept last night for worrying about this girl. The reason? I did the homecheck for Millie - just before they left to meet and collect her yesterday. And when I read later last night what had happened, all the "What if I had failed them, then this wouldn't have happened" guilt feelings flooded in.
PLEASE, ladies, take better care of her from now on. I did warn you, but you obviously didn't listen. - 2011-03-31 16:18 Helen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge

- Ah, isn't she lovely. Hope she is home very soon. Being on the Suffolk/Essex borders, make sure you notify all relevant people in both areas - dog wardens, kennels, vets etc. I will alert some contacts over that way of Essex and I am sure our co-ordinator for Suffolk will be in touch with some more local contacts for you. Milly may well head back to the area she ran from. Not sure of her circumstances/where adopted from/how long she was there etc, but if there is some of her bedding or an old towel or something with previous owners/carers scent on this could be left somewhere safe around the area she ran from incase she returns and will be familiar to her.
Make sure you contact Westend Farm Kennels, 01449 737641, as they kennel strays picked up in some of the borderig Essex councils and well as many in Suffolk.Last edited: 2011-03-30 21:44:30 by Jo - Area Co-ordinator, Essex
