Happy ending! Just had a very emotional reunion with the owners who got my details from the police. Her name is Alice and she is 15 and totally deaf. From tomorrow she will be wearing a name tag at all times

I have left all my details with the police but it is too late to get hold of the warden, I was going to phone the 24 hour emergency vets to see if they had any reports of a missing dog
