- Great to see Fabio home. People can be heartless and moan about trival things. I say well done for the postering if it helped bring him home. My Oscar is still missing and I will keep the posters up until he is found even though the council contacted me because someone has complained but they will be taken down when he comes come. The council say its fly postering which is the same as fly tipping. If they could be in our shoes for just one day and feel the heartbreak and torchure we feel they would soon change their minds. So well done for all you have done and welcome home Fabio.

- many times it's the posters that get these dogs back home so I have no hesitation in plastering the areas in which a dog goes missing in order to help get them home, so long as we eventually take them down when they are found, or in some cases I would love them to be there as long as needed - RIP Bramble, I still have your poster saved on my desktop :( Some folk are unfortnately not as like minded as us.
- 2011-04-15 12:21 redcoatsagility
- doglover1 i know what you mean when there dogs goes missing they would be different as if any of mine went missing or for example when our brambles(R.I.P) went missing the whole of bristol was plasterd and there was a man going round taking them down saying it harms the environment i mean come on how stupid is that

- just to say I am so pleased that the little man has been found safe & well. I heard about him when a Netmums member, Karen, put a post on our site about him. I live quite near to where Fabio is and so asked anyone and everyone I knew to look out for him and pestered fellow dogwalkers to do the same. Having followed the messages posted and seeing the level of care of your members I am pleased to say I am now registered with Dog Lost as a helper.Last edited: 2011-04-11 20:54:26 by Jay

- Thanks Leigh for the call I have been waiting all day for! Just the best news to hear this little man is back at home with you and his family and he was having a lovely weekend whilst we were all going frantic! I am soooo happy for you I can't tell you! A really good idea for all the dogs to get chipped and tagged now, as you found out, you just never know when they may decide to explore on their own! So glad a lovely lady found you Fab and kept you safe, thank you to that lady also. Really lovely Leigh you are staying on as a helper you are most welcome to Team Bristol (I've also recruited another today through found husky 29084, now also reunited today). You are very welcome Leigh, we do it for the dogs and their lovely owners. We will all have great delight in taking Fabio's posters DOWN. Can we have a reunited pic now please?! Welcome home little man, stay safe now.x.

- Fabio is back at home safe and sound, he was taken in by a lovely lady on saturday. We would like to say a massive thank you to all that helped in the search for him especially Sue and Kathryn who have been soooooo supportive and helpful. I was unaware of this website before this and it has been a lifesaver. I am now going to register as a volunteer to help other owners who, unfortunately, find themselves in the position I have been in. Thank you again, our lives can go on again now, we have our little family back together.
THANK YOU SUE AND KATHRYN XXXXXXXXXXXX
P.S. Fabio says woof woof - which means thank you for helping my mummy and daddy to find me. xxxxxx - 2011-04-11 18:03 Mollychops

- Thanks CaseyJones, your eyes when out and about would be most appreciated by the owners who are desparate to get this little man home. I'm sure Leigh would not mind you contacting her tomorrow to see if you can help further, perhaps putting up some more posters. Thanks again.
- 2011-04-10 20:12 CaseyJones
- Hi, just saw your flyer through our door which led me to this website. I live on Grace Drive and will make sure that I look out for Fabio when I am walking our dogs. Hope you find him soon! Let me know if there is anything I can do.
- 2011-04-10 19:47 Mollychops
- Well done Kathryn, thanks for being so supportive x
- 2011-04-10 19:15 dinkydoodle
- We were discussing scenting when out postering and flyering earlier, I've sent Leigh the DL details, everything is worth a go to get this little chap home to his distraught owners (they have been fab and done/doing all the right things with a list of things to do 1st thing tomorrow morning). Good idea taking the other little guy out, at least he will pee and help to scent the area also. Come on Fabio, your family is missing you heaps.x.
- 2011-04-10 18:54 dancingleigh32
- I am going to take one of my other dogs out with me in the hope that he might catch fabios scent. We are also going to try some scent spraying to and from the house.
- 2011-04-10 18:36 dancingleigh32
- Have been out with Kathryn flyering and doing posters. We are going to go out again in a bit for another look around for him. Can't stand the thought of him being gone for another night.
- 2011-04-10 17:57 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
- Thanks!
- 2011-04-10 16:45 KarenH
- I've been looking around the Courtney Rd area when out with the boarders, and have also put a notice on the Netmums forum noticeboard as thats well used by lots of people, not just doggy ones! Have printed off some posters and given some to people too. Hopefully he's resting somewhere cool and will come out as it gets cooler. Come on Fab!
- 2011-04-10 15:31 dancingleigh32
- I have been out doing more postering and put some in local shops and Jolly's in Longwell green. I am just about to go out posting flyers through peoples doors, thanks Kathryn. A lot of my family are also out in the area looking for Fab and knocking on doors, I am not going to give up until we find him. Come on Fab, please, we miss you and need you home.

- Just had a slow drive round the area, Tennis court Road, Grace Drive, Holly Hill, also looked in the field/park on Tennis court road, nothing but lots of people out and about , Yes I also think as he could be locked in shed/garage, so many houses, gardens in this area. Well done Dancingleigh32 saw lots of posters up already. Come on Fabio show yourself..
- 2011-04-10 13:45 dinkydoodle
- mollychops, I've just emailed flyers to dancingleigh32. doglover1 has just driven round area which is very built up. I imagine someone has taken him in and being Sunday doesn't know what to do. I can go and poster later on if needed.
- 2011-04-10 13:39 Mollychops
- We are [not me Reynard!} doing flyers atm, will get some to you . THis is my worry he is caught somewhwere and local people need to be aware and check their gardens outbuildings etc. Thanks Dinkydoodle X
- 2011-04-10 13:27 dinkydoodle
- I've text to say I can do some flyers to post in houses in immediate area as this little guy may have got locked in a shed or garage yesterday if people were gardening. I can help poster later but I really hope Fabio is found very soon.x.

- Just rang owners. They are out searching atm for their little boy. He disappeared from the garden whilst owners were outside eating there. They are worried he may be caught somewhere, as he is small and not very streetwise. They will be contacting me when they go back home, and send a photo.
- 2011-04-10 06:42 Mollychops
- Will contact and pinpoint the area this dog went missing
