I just saw this on The One Show and wanted to check out the site.
I myself own a Shiba and realise how much of a target they are for thieves because of their unique appearance. I will no longer be leaving Mei outside Tescos when I go in to shop.

So pleased these two are back and look forward to seeing them on The One Show tomorrow. "Well done" to Rottie - they so undeservedly get such a bad press sometimes - hope he/she gets a moment of glory on tv tomorrow. Tho the thief must have been a bit thick not to have realised earlier which side Rottie would be on!!

Update from owners friend who registered the 2 dogs stolen with us....Owner recieved a call from an anon caller who we presume saw a poster to have her number and told her he had just seen a youth walking her dogs...Owner immediately took her Rottie for a walk in that area....was scared as pitch black....came across the youth who on challenged swore at her and threatened her....but gave up when he realised what side the Rottie was on and dropped the leads.

Anyone coming through from facebook for update please register with us (as you are all concerned dog lovers) and the next time this happens we can automatically send you details of missing dogs in your area...remember its not if it will happen to you its when it will happen to you! Be prepared and lets fight back!

Arnie and Minnie have been checked over by the vet today and they are fine. Been a roller coaster time for their family who had a brilliant result, all the hard work paid off, everything can get back to normal now. Welcome home Arnie and Minnie. Jan x

Spoken to owner and given advice. Police have issued a CRIME No and there is CCTV footage to the van and people who stole them. Have also emailed further info/advice of things to do and places to contact. Will send various size posters to family a.s.a.p. Jan x
