thanks for your update natalie. is she in reading and would she be in kennels? i am from swansea and thinking of getting another jrt. pippa is very small weing 3.65 kg and would like another small one-she looks quite small.

I'm sure if somebody was missing her they would have contacted the authorities, could just be a case of using her for puppies, selling them and then letting her loose. Hopefully her puppies are safe wherever they are and old enough to cope without mum, and hope she finds herself a nice new home.

i am concerned for this dog who may have young pups at home. does she look like a stray and what were the circumstances regarding being found-was she scavinging for food around asda? maybe her pups were born outside somewhere if a stray. does she look a stray or well kept? i just cant believe no one is looking for her. would a picture in the local paper maybe find her owners? where will she go as i am thinking of looking for a companion for my jrt of 14 years having lost her brother through illness almost 2 years ago.

I am 5 mins down the road from this little girl. If she needs a foster home please let me know. I am happly to foster till a forever home. Its just so sad when they go to kennels, however loving - T plus 3 rescues

There is somebody who breeds jack russells very close to where this girl was found, could possibly be from there as they have some puppies for sale and it's a farm so she could have been loose and gone after a rabbit or something. May be worth a try anyway, their number is 0118 981 2578 just to check if theirs is missing, Natalie
