- I know it may be a long shot, but could you ring the Council Tax department that covers the area of Jakes chip address as when they moved house, they would HAVE had to give a forwarding address (I used to work in Council Tax so know this is a requirement), and at least you could ask them to ring their new contact number just to at least let them know to ring you?? They may not do it but its worth asking.

- Unfortunatly the microchip is registered to the dogs old address - and we can't trace where the owners have moved to - all our bordering councils have been notified.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
