Like you FrankieB, however sad it was to lose Roxy it does bring comfort that it was not at the hands of evil scum bags... Still a great loss i know but we never know why things happen... They just do :(

So sorry to hear about beautiful Roxy, jax, but I can only speak for myself in saying that it would be some comfort to me to know that her death was an accident rather than intentional. It could well be that the movement seen on floors other to where she fell from were simply people who heard the fall. As for the person/people who said they had seen her being dropped from the balcony, I know from an incident in our village how people can behave when they want to get someone they have a grudge against into trouble or when they simply want some attention, particularly if there's a chance the media may get involved. They don't seem to have any consideration for the feelings of the owners.

hi,this is jackie,roxys owner. i have had the full rspca report also a police report. im glad,very very glad to be able to say that roxy was not thrown from a building.the police and rspca inspectors had gone over and over the cctv which totally covers the flats where the accident happened.there was no sighting whatsoever of anyone at the scene when roxy fell.they beleive that she was in some kind of a panic totrying to leave the building which she most probably had been trapped in over night and jumped up on to the balcony in bid for an escape,obviously not realising how high she was or even that she was not on ground level. unfortunately,and i would never ever have an insight where to start but someone very very silly in the community had decided to say that they saw her being thrown and basically this was the beginning of a very un called for rumour. police and rspca beleive people may well have looked up to the flat balconys when they saw her in the air falling but they did not know what landing she had fallen from and may quite easily of mistaken someone being where they beleive she dropped but on the actual cctv there was no one there yet on other levels there was movement of people.roxy is seen clambering up the wall then falling. it is still very saddening but however this may come across my family and myself have been able to accept this and we have now buried roxy. thankyou all so so much for the support you have all offered,you have all been so kind throughout.

Meru. Me too. Would be more than happy to donate to a reward to catch the lowlife scum who did this to Roxy. I hope they never find peace. To the owners of Roxy, one day they will get their comeuppance. This may give the family of Roxy a little peace. a friend of mine has often seen his deceased dogs playing in spirit (no he is not mad). Someone else bhas seen them too. I would ask the papers to do a story for witnesses and how your dog suffered at the hands of these horrible things... At the least it might put a bit of fear in these scumbags heads - if they can read of course... Someone knows them! I would also keep in touch with the rspca to make sure they dont just put this on a pile of paperwork to be left... I would think not... I would make it my challenge to name and shame these people and get justice for Roxy... I cant watch the her on youtube im afraid cause houseful of kids and i know i would just blubber.... So sorry for your loss :(

The people who did this - are not people like you or me. They are barely the same species. They do not think like you or I, they do not care about anything other than self-gratification, they have no morals or ethics, they are not intelligent, loving or kind. They are nasty, evil, low-lifes who don't give a fig about anything and a slap on the wrists by the police or RSPCA (that's even if they can prove anything) will do nothing to deter these "people". They only understand pain, violence and fear, and our society is far too lenient on these scummy creatures and then wonder why they run riot in communities who are scared of them. I am so sorry about what happened to dear Roxy - and I just hope that one day the excuse for humans who did this will get what they deserve. Run free at the bridge Roxy.

I too have just watched the videos of Roxy in tears. She looked so happy and with a family who loved her dearly. It doesnt bear thinking about what she has gone through - but I just hope that this sick ba****ds are found and severely punished. Thinking of Jax and her family at this sad time. R.I P. I read this on here last night and was so upset I couldn't even reply till now! I haven't been able to stop thinking about her and ending up in tears. My heart goes out to her owners, I don't know if I could ever cope knowing this had been done to my 'baby'! I wont say how I feel about the scum who did this, as I'm sure we are all feeling exactly the same and the language would be very strong, but may they rot in hell! I'm ashamed to be part of the same human race as tossers like these!

thankyou all so much for your thoughts and comments.thankyou also to all the people that text my phone to personally send their condolences. there is a video of rox playing upsy with a balloon that was taken a month or so ago,there is also one of her under the same code but called dog barking on trampoline.if you would like to take a look you will find it on you tube under....670chris076 dog doing tricks.it is so sweet and funny.thas our rox!!!! take a look.

Wonder how this scum would feel being hhung out a fifth storey window. Soon be bleating for their mums wouldn't they. I really hope there is justice here for this innocent dog whose friendly nature probably let herself be caught. Too often thee's an attitude of it's only a dog and nothing's done. I am absolutely gutted reading this to see that Roxy didn't make it home and am so upset. I just logged in to print some posters as I had to work the last two days and was initially overjoyed to see her in the blue. I would love 5 minutes with the scumbags that did this to her. Oh that poor dog!!! I think its a fear for all owners who lose their animals that nasty people will get their hands on them... That would haunt me if i saw this... Why and how can they do it... She probably did nothing to them but trusted them - says she was over friendly so she probably just walked straight up to them... How sad :(

had news that roxy got into the hands of some youths and she was thrown from the 5th floor of a block of flats.this news is devastating for myself,more so my children.it is being fully investigated by an rspca inspector to see if some evidence by means of cctv can be produced in order to back up witness statements.i wish all your lost dogs safe,i really do.there are some sick sick people out there.this is becoming quite a big story.facebook is covered and a lot of people are disgusted and sickened with whats happened to rox.sorry but i thought you should all kmow.i will continue to support everybody in looking for their dogs in the areas i am able.good luck.
