Just spoken to the lady who is looking after this dog, no-one claimed him, so he is happily settled in with them and their black Lab, and has been called "Charlie Brown" ! Jytte

Got from a reliable source this morning that this dog was seen about 6.00am that day, wandering at the side of the road, and entering the Park from Park Road side, near roundabout.

Have just spoken to the lady who's husband took the dog home. The DW (Wakefield) have been informed. He is an older boy, and once bathed is much better, thought to have maybe slept in a ditch all night. they didn't want him to go to kennels, so are keeping him, or finding hima home, if the original owner does not appear !

Have spoken twice now, to Brook's owner, and I think the dog we found is smaller and paler than Brook, but still worth checking with DWs. We don't know if the man who took the dog has reported to DWs yet.
