Thanks Yettontop - I'll look into that. We've had another call this afternoon reporting a possible sighting north of Helmsley at Cowhouse Bank - off to have a look.

I don't want to dash any hopes, but be aware that there has been a biggish dog agility show at Helmsley all Easter weekend with hundreds of collies, including many similar to Fudge in looks......and they will have been taken on off leads walks around the area too. Hope that the sighting really was Fudge. Can't remember hearing of any stray dogs at the show at the Hall - they would have been taken to the show managers and an announcement put out over the tannoy system, but it could be worth a check??
