- Other Info I'm going to keep her for a few days to see if anyone comes forward to save the owners the fees to get her back (and to save the poor little mite a stay in the kennels) Have taken her to my local PDSA, no micro chip. Local dog warden notified. She looks like she's been wandering for a while, quite dirty and smelly, no bony but a bit under weight and tired.

If her owner does not come forward, and you can no longer keep her, how about contacting the yorkie and toy breed rescue ?

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
