Agreed Lizzy. I know Murphy's owner was just so glad to get him back, that she did reward the young lad, for owning up. A lot of people do not realise they are committing a crime by taking someone else's dog.It is theft in the eyes of the law.Last edited: 2011-05-05 18:05:10 by Sable - Regional Co-ordinator - Scotland

The reward I would have given to them (or advice) is buy your own dog and don't take someone elses!!! poor Murphy.

Murphy has been found.Posters worked again. He had been taken on a train journey of around 25 minutes to Cumnock by a young boy who has had him for the 2 weeks he has been missing.Word was passed around by the posters and Murphy is back home, a bit quiet but ok in general. People who had him wanted a reward !Last edited: 2011-05-04 19:53:01 by Sable - Regional Co-ordinator - Scotland

Have sent his details to a list of Scottish rescues and emailed fliers for the owner. Spoke to owner this afternoon. It seems either someone took Murphy from the garden or he escaped. He is absolutely gorgeous. I hope he is found soon and back with his rightful owner.
