Thanks Angus for covering the mailings to the areas we discussed and to everyone else who has posted on their pages and also those who are spreading the word especially via Facebook.

We just want to see these birds back where they belong and are much loved. If anyone knows where they are please contact the numbers above or DogLost in the strictest confidence. Jan x

I've posted this to facebook since I know people in and around that area.(Did a double take when I saw the colours at the top, mind- Some very exotic dog this!) But seriously, put an ad on gumtree too with photos (pets section) and get the Manchester Evening News, South Manchester Reporter, and the Sale & Altrincham Messenger to cover it as a story. And put a very large poster in Tesco Baguley (on Altrincham Road, and Pets at Home oppsite Tescos) as well as posters in the Forum(library and shops). Granada Reports is another good bet for a story- that will get the whole region covered.

Have forwarded to National Theft Register John Hayward. I'm not sure whether this was done, but better twice than not at all. Fingers crossed! Nx

Site developer here - I'm owned by an ex-rescue, ex-medicated African Grey too, so I *really* hope we can help here, Kelly. Have put the word out, and we'll keep our fingers crossed for you.

Thanks Jackalee, just finished speaking to Kelly and photo/s are being emailed.

Originally four were stolen and two have been recovered. The Police have been very helpful in helping in the search, a Crime No. has been issued.

Posters have been getting disributed.

The two parrots could be anywhere by now. Jan x

There was an African Grey found in the Droylsden area a couple of days ago. Have contacted the finder and it doesn't sound like this one. The one found is a very healthy bird and has all it's chest and tail feathers intact although it does have a leg ring. The advert was from Gumtree. Hope you find them soon Kelly x

Saw these two on Animal search as well. There are 4 photos on the entry, don't know if we could copy them? Are we allowed to do that?
