putting this because also local and anyone selling a pedigree dog they have only just bought would surely return it to the breeder for refund.

if the last pup is still missing there is this one which sounds very plausible but they have a six week old puppy and no mum to view...she is a working gundog they say and has returned to work! ...very odd!! there are pictures anyway so worth a look although in another add on another site the seller says he can't upload pictures!!

saw this advert placed yesterday very local to where the pups were stolen.It'sfor one yellow bitch
It really stuck out from the others!! no mention of pedigree,says it's cream and didn't even seem to know how old plus £50!very odd.

everything crossed the other 4 babies will be found soon.I should think they have contacted all the vets in the area as anyone that has bought one of these pups will no doubt take it to a vets very soon for jabs etc. have bumped on labrador forum xx

UPDATE FROM THAMES VALLEY POLICE.

Text and phone calls last night to say that now 7 of the 11 have been returned. they were all found being sold locally.
they just hope they can now recover the other missing 4.

waiting for full deatils so we know what sex and colour are still missing etc. BUMPED as all these dogs were being sold locally to where stolen from.

someone on my thread on labrador forum posted that a friend of hers bought a pup from a boy as she was worried for the pups safely then reported it to the police.The pup was of course returned to the owner.They also now have other information that could be good news for the pups.Fingers crossed these babies are all reunited very soon xx

Hi CJ sorry, but I wasn't referring to the puppies stolen. I was talking about the ads I posted about and other identical ones on Oodle. They use stock photos all over the country so they are the puppy farms and definately not the breeder in question.Aplogies if that wasn't clear.xx

Picture on site IS THE STOLEN PUPS- as given to police for ID purposes. It is def not a stock photo.
Pups are from a line of trained gun dogs- they have breed over a few generations . owners have breed this litter from the parents they have at home and they are NOT puppy farmers

sadly if you look on oodle.co.uk there are loads of almost identical ads as the ones i saw all over the country listed on the same day. the picture is a stock photo not the actual pups for sale so almost certainly a puppy farm.:-( x

ALso, just checked Angi link and it was posted early morning on the 3rd May. Perhaps the thieves already had eyed up the puppies or this is just a coincidence. Could be worth checking out and seeing what they have available?

Printed some posters will drop off at our vet in Slough. May put up one down the Millenium river in the carpark. Also forwarded to friends who are in various gundog clubs. You never know they may get offered one.

have a look at these 2 ads one posted location Bristol the other Cambridge but both say the same thing just 'pretty labs for sale' no mention of pedigree and strangest of all both were posted at the same time so by the same person! very suss . and they are very cheap.

• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
