- This is the dog I mentioned once before that was stolen from the old lady of 78. Just read the story in the local paper. I was told it was a Staffy pup thats why I got confused. It might be best to put Arksey instead of Almholme as Almholme is just a road in Arksey and if you are not familiar with Arksey you wont know what area of Doncaster it is. From what Ive heared about this the pup along with some other things were stolen cause the lady refused to sell her horse to what was thought to be gypsies . There is a good report on front page and page 3 of Doncaster Advertiser. It quotes Jayne and gives Doglost details.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Is this Almholme in Doncaster. I know that very well its where I grew up but not familiar with Alholme, as its just 1 letter out I wonderd if its the same place. If it is its in Arksey where my mother still lives and she knows everybody its a small village. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
