- Hi, yes she is chipped, i have posted her microchip number, however i am aware of microchips not always working? can i possibly have a number for the finder or can you provide me with more details??
We had a call a week or so ago reporting a rotti seen in Normanton so this could well be a lead. Your help is much appreciated! I pray she is ok and that this is her!!!!!!!!! - 2011-06-09 09:42 Jarvis Cocker
- A very placid female Rottweiler has been found at Tingley, she has been checked for a chip but there is not one showing, is Zara definately chipped. The finder is looking after her at the moment. she is not in too good a condition.

- Yesterday i was driving home and just as you come up towards the top of woolley edge near the bad bend and wood i saw something black goinging into the woods, as i got to the top i saw a german short haired pointer also with this dog. I just thought someone must be with them walking so kept driving however now im not sure. I go that way every day so will keep my eyes open. I saw them at 11.45 am. I am so sorry if this was her and i missed her ive not been on this sight for a long time myself and hubby will go for a look today.Last edited: 2011-05-24 06:27:37 by liana

- So sorry Zara is missing, have you tried Ponderosa Kennels in Allerton Bywater and Rose Farm Kennels in Church Fenton, Rose Farm used to take the dogs for Selby Area, dont know whether they still do. Ring contact Police stations individually as they do not communicate with each other or the dog wardens, some people still go to the Police first but whilst looking for Pippin I found the Police quite unhelpful as they all keep their own separate registers and dont cross reference. There is also a kennels at the other side of the old A1 to Fairburn, near Brotherton Thatt Indian Restaurant (old Brotherton Fox Hotel) sorry dont know the name but they were very helpful to me. Please get your posters out whereever you can, lamp posts, bus shelters, pubs, shops, I will certainly keep my eyes and ears open, I am not a home to poster until next week, when hopefully Zara will be safe and sound tucked up in her bed, but if not will certainly do all I can then. Im sure she will be back soon.

- Sadly there has been no news or sightings of Zara since she disappeared from her garden and it is possible she may have been stolen. Her owner has contacted local dog wardens and across the border to the Selby Dog warden. They have also contacted Mount Pleasant and Cliffe Kennels and I am sending them the contact details for Fleet Kennels and Alfies Kennels. Without her daily medication Zara's health will deteriorate and it is hoped that if anyone has taken her in they will report this to the dog warden ASAP which they are required to do by law ! Hoping to see this girl back home again very soon x
