That's great news. Well done Rescue Ladies!! It sounds like Striker was pleased to see a familiar face. I hope he settles into his new home and has a lovely happy life with his new family. XX

STRIKER HAS BEEN FOUND - Thank you all for your concern. The ladies from the rescue (Wyre Forest Dogs) came out and he eventually came running to them. Owner and dog reunited, phew! x

Just wondered if he is from Hall Green rescue, if so, they are really caring and I agree with Spindle when I walked the dogs there they liked to follow each other so that would be a fab idea. Good luckLast edited: 2011-05-11 08:55:45

May be good idea to get a dog this one knows walking the area, could bring him out of hiding.Talk to rescue maybe and find out background.

Hey Lizzy, good idea, will get him to contact the rescue to see if they'll come and help. Have got the man on facebook now, Striker is black he is also a lurcher cross greyhound I think. He was spotted an hour ago by the man at the gates of the park but when I've been down I haven't seen him. I think a trap will be needed so will have to find someone with one large enough. Will be going down again at 5am as that'll be the best time to spot him as it'll start to get light and he'll have most likely found somewhere to hide for the night now. x

I am in Birmingham, so could come and have a look for him but I am trying to go and poster for Spencer as well. Maybe you could try a BBQ if he is hungry or if he stays in the same area a trap may be needed. I was also wondering whether the rescue may be able to help - he may know one or two of them and may approach them.Last edited: 2011-05-11 00:02:28

Unsure, not my dog. Have just met the man and am awaiting his facebook add so I can update. But considering he was lost this afternoon, wanted to get details up as quick as I could. Will update as soon as I know. Thank you for your comment. x
