- Breed and gender updated. Shih Tzu's and Lhasa Apso's very often get mistaken for each other. Even kennels get the breed mixed up, it is always worth checking for both when looking for them. Jan x

- Spoken to kennels and she is definately a girl and has been reclaimed by her owners, she is also now CHIPPED which is great news.
Kito's family have been in touch with the kennels earlier.
Thank you to Amykeane for registering her on DL and I have great pleasure in moving her into the BLUE. Welcome home gorgeous girl. Jan x

- Thanks doglover, for checking the Pound and the texts. I did think this one looked like a female and did refer to it being a female in my first post and the texts to doglover.
Hopefully owner or Carol has been in touch with the kennels by now and it has been clarified it has been claimed and the sex of it.
I will try and contact kennels but getting ready to go out and will not be home until very late tonight. Jan x - 2011-05-12 10:06 doglover1
- I think this little lovely has been reclaimed, just seen on Wirral dog pound site.

- Thanks Jan. I have been talking to the owner and this is a very close match, Carol is a friend of the owner. Kito is so similar that it had to be checked out. Fingers crossed.

- Carol, I have blown up the bottom pic of the found dog, included a photo of the missing boy and emailed it to you. The pic on Facebook of your friends is not quite the same position and is a puppy photo but the black on the found seems to go right down the leg. Markings are very similar but not sure they are exactly the same. Send the photo to his owner to see what he thinks. Jan x

- Carol, yes dogs can be found miles away from their home. We have had a few that I know of from down South that ended up in the North West. There have also been stories of other dogs being found a fair distance from where they went missing. Jan x

- Thanks everyone for posting on this lovely found girl, I've only just logged on.
Carol the found seems to have more white on the top of its head than your boy and also going down between the eyes. Would be great if it was him. Good luck. Jan x
