So pleased this litle sweetheart is back with her owner.
Well done to the kind lady who looked after her.
Susan
So glad you have found your little darling Wayne, you said your so glad that there's kind and honest people out there willing to help others. There's a big community of dog lovers on the internet helping dogs and passing the word round on all sorts of doggy things. Well done the lady who had her. Now put your mind at rest and get her chipped.

I would certainly put a complaint in to the bus company!!! Wouldnt let this driver get away with it.... What a horrible bloke!
jobadger
What a horrible time for you both. I'm so glad Macey's home safely, thanks to the kind person on the bus.
I would certainly take this as a complaint to the bus company. I wouldn't let their excuses ride! xx

Oh Wayne I am so pleased for you and little Macey! Personally I would write a letter of complaint still to the bus company (but that's just me)I'm sure your just pleased to have her home. A microchip may be a good idea :) Enjoy the rest of your weekend and welcome home gorgeous girl xx

Wayne this is fab news, thanks for letting us know.

Great the posters have worked again and what a kind lady to take Macey in. Do get Macey CHIPPED a.s.a.p. and ensure she has a collar on with ID at all times.

Have great pleasure in moving her into the BLUE. Welcome home Macey lots of hugs and cuddles from everyone on DL. Jan x
Wayne
To everyone who has commented and helped me out, Macey has been found!!!! I printed up some posters and put them up all along the bus route, and within an hour i got a phone call from a lady to say she had her. Turns out she was on the same bus as me, and witnessed the whole thing. When the bus doors closed, everyone on the bus screamed to the bus driver, saying "Thats his dog!!" but he just looked ahead and drover off. The lady on the bus took her in and noticed my posters during her daily walk. Im so glad that there are kind and honest people out there who are happy to help others :-)
lf2000
The only reason i say argue is cause Wayne himself thinks he is not getting the help etc that is warrented, and seems like things are being covered up... Thats what instantly gets your back up.
hamish&katy
Anymore news of this little one??
dewilliams42
THE THING IS YOU ARE ONLY ASKING FOR HELP. THE DRIVER MIGHT NOT HAVE NOTICED MACEY GETTING ON AND NOT REALISED THAT WAYNE HAD DROPPED SOMETHING AND WAS LOOKING FOR IT BEFORE HE GOT ON. THEN IF THE DOG GOT OFF AT THE SAME TIME AS SOMEONE ELSE HE WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THE DOG WAS THEIRS. BUT THE DRIVER MIGHT HAVE IMPORTANT CLUES TO WHERE THE DOG GOT OFF. THE DRIVER PROBABLY THINKS HE IS IN TROUBLE.
lf2000
At the least they would know who is driving the bus!!
lf2000
That is terrible!!! I would go to the police and put up a right stink cause as far as i see it if that driver is responsible for who and what is on his bus at the time and he must have known what he had done i see it as him stealing your dog... The bus place has to have cctv so again kick up a stink.. And like someone said before go to the papers - even if its just a local one - and ask them to print a story... I cant believe this.
Goldenfrodo
Thanks Susan xx Fingers crossed there's some good news of Macey soon.
Susan
I live near to Canning Town bus station and Celia Hammond Animal Trust is just down the road, I will try and find a number for the emergency vet on duty tomorrow and give them a call and see if anyone has handed Macey in, this is such a well know place in Canning Town it would be the first place someone would take a missing dog. I will let you know either way. fingers crossed.
dewilliams42
someone might have handed her in to a vets on their way home and even told the bus driver what they were doing. i wonder if the company has asked the bus driver-they must have a rota to work to.
Tara H
I know you probably have, but have you phoned Newham Dog wardens, just in case someone has handed her in. As that bus route runs into Newham from Barking/Dagenham borough
Lisa123
That's ok :) I would phone their head office and kick up a right stink! Someone surely would have noticed what happened and also a little dog wondering around on a bus on her own and either jumping off on her own at another stop or someone carrying her off when she had got on by herself. She is such a distinctive looking little dog too.
dewilliams42
SORRY LISA123 DID'NT SEE YOUR COMMENT-YES THAT HELP THEM REMEMBER!!!
dewilliams42
THEY CERTAINLY DID'NT SEEM HELPFUL AND ITS NOT AS IF YOU WERE MAKING A COMPLAINT, JUST ASKING FOR HELP. HOW WOULD THEY FEEL IF IT WAS THEIR DOG MISSING. COULD YOU ASK THE LOCAL PAPER TO PUT HER PHOTO IN WITH A SHORT STORY ABOUT HOW SHE WENT MISSIG-SOMEONE WHO WAS ON THAT BUS MIGHT COME FORWARD.
Lisa123
Wayne, I wouldn't go to the garage but would phone the bus company and ask for whoever is in charge. Tell them you are going to put an article in the papers and mention how unhelpful they have been. Hope this little girl is home soon x
Wayne
Thank-you to everyone who has printed or copy and pasted this poster. I have been to the bus garage four times and they can confirm that they have no cctv image of myself or the dog boarding a bus at that time!!! What a joke!! They are protecting the bus driver, as no bus driver has come forward to say that they were on that bus. Although if it was the bus driver who got assaulted or a member of the public, they would have that cctv to hand. The police will not do anything as they do not deal with animals. Rspca, Battersea, all vets and facebook groups have been informed. I have put up posters along the bus route and hope someone somewhere knows something and comes forward.
dewilliams42
the bus company should be able to tell you who the particular driver was on that route and time. surely he would be able to tell you if the dog got off somewhere along the route or if someone took him with them. good luck and hope macey is home soon.
mandym
Posted to my f/b page, i hope she is home soon...

Lost for words - have you phoned the bus company? poor dog - maybe one of the passengers has taken her home. Poster all the bus stops along the route and maybe get it put in the local paper and then write a letter to the bus company to complain!!Last edited: 2011-05-12 21:45:07
