J MO. Just checked out Burscough, because I'm really hopeless at geography. What are the chances for 2 yorkies going missing in Burscough at the same time?? Glad they both found there way home :) xx

Hi J MO. we posted at the same time :) So glad you saw my message. Didn't know how to contact you, that's why I rang Jan. Have just tried the number again and still no answer. Hopefully they will contact you as you have more details than I have, reference number etc. Let me know if you hear anything. Here's hoping it's the same one :))) x

Thanks Jan, have tried contacting the people who are advertising the lost yorkie but no answer. Probably out looking for her. Have left a message and will try again in a bit x
J MO
Jackalee, it must be the same one. I know the couple who found her and they took her to my vet to see if she was microchipped and then took her home and rang the grooming parlours as she had recently been clipped. She had been taken to Leigh Cats and Dogs home. I have the reference number. Have just left a message on the tel number you have posted.

Thanks for the text Jackalee, I did get a text from J MO last night about Minnie but with having problems with my laptop could not get online. I'll move Minnie into the BLUE now, welcome home Minnie and thanks J MO for following the found Yorkie up.

Jackalee I have replied to your text, J MO did say last night that the found Yorkie was taken to Leigh Cats & Dog's Home. Jan x

J MO. Has the other yorkie found her way home yet? There is an ad on Gumtree for a female yorkie that has been lost in the Burscough area on the 2nd July. The ad was only posted 5 hours ago.

Been out and about in Burscough Village and put up loads of posters on lamp posts at traffic junctions and in the main shops. Started postering on the outskirts of Burscough now in case she was picked up. Could kick myself tho as it wad the Giant Car Boot in Burscough today and would have been a good opportunity to hand out posters. Will have to remember for next week

I was walking my dogs at the Sports Ground when a lady asked me if I had lost a dog. It was a Yorkie and I thought we had found Minnie. It was in fact a male and we did find his owner but everyone involved in finding the owner and the owner himself took posters for Minnie. I have also postered the Vets at Ormskirk and Rufford and the pet shop in Burscough Industrial Estate. I have also postered around Ormskirk I'm readiness for the Market tomorrow. Hope we get some news soonLast edited: 2011-05-18 22:56:40 by J MO

I have left a message on owner's answerphone to widen her search, as she lives on the main A59 and the dog might have been picked up and taken out of the area.

Checked AW site cannot see Minnie registered or any found Yorkies. I've contacted owner again and given them the details to contact the AW and advised they also email a photo of Minnie as well to them. Jan x

Spoke to owner this morning and advised her to contact yourselves etc. Missing since Saturday morning. Further advised to contact LDCH and local vets.
DogLostMajorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
Spoken to owner, I've updated the details, she is a full Yorkie not a cross, mobile number added, photo is of her when younger.

The right authorities have been contacted, Leigh C&D Home checked and Police. Posters have been getting put up in the area. I'll email further info/advice later when home from work.

I have tried Halewood RSPCA in case she had ended up there. Owner said the Out of Hours AW have been contacted. Jan x
